Site EngineerLocation: Canary Wharf, LondonContract: Freelance 2 Year ContractRate: £375 - £400 per dayThe OpportunityA leading Tier One Main Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join the delivery team on a major high-rise development in Canary Wharf.Working on one of London's flagship residential developments, you'll play a key role in delivering the faade and internal fit-out packages to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with a contractor renowned for delivering complex, large-scale developments using innovative construction methods and modern building techniques.ResponsibilitiesSetting out and surveying for faade installation works.Managing setting out and quality control for internal fit-out packages, including kitchens, bathrooms and associated finishes.Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.Carrying out quality assurance inspections and maintaining accurate QA records.Coordinating subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.Producing and maintaining as-built records.Resolving technical queries alongside the site management and design teams.Monitoring progress against programme and identifying potential issues.Ensuring works comply with health, safety and environmental requirements.Supporting site management with engineering solutions throughout the construction process.Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience working as a Site Engineer for a Tier One or Tier Two Main Contractor.Strong experience delivering faade packages on large-scale residential or commercial developments.Proven background in internal fit-out works, including: KitchensBathroomsHigh-quality residential finishesExcellent setting out skills using Leica or Trimble equipment.Strong understanding of QA procedures and quality management.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Good communication skills with subcontractors, consultants and project teams.CSCS Card essential.SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial.Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.What's on Offer£375 - £400 per day.Long-term 2-year freelance contract.Major landmark development in Canary Wharf.Opportunity to work on a technically challenging, high-profile project.Stable programme with an established Tier One Main Contractor.Interested?If you're interested in this opportunity, please send your CV to or call Jacky on 0730 726 9402 for a confidential discussion.TPBN1_UKTJ
