# Health,Safety & Wellbeing Advisor**Location:** Saxmundham,Suffolk**Hours:** 45 hours per week**Contract:** Temporary to Permanent## Join a Landmark Infrastructure ProjectThis is an exciting temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a Health,Safety & Wellbeing Advisor looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role on one of the UKs largest and most complex infrastructure projects.Working on a major new energy construction project,you will support the delivery of high standards of health,safety and wellbeing across a fast-paced construction environment. Our people are at the heart of everything we do,and we believe that supporting physical,mental and financial wellbeing enables our teams to perform at their best.## The RoleAs Health,Safety & Wellbeing Advisor,you will support the Health,Safety & Wellbeing Manager in promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout the project.Your responsibilities will include:* Supporting the implementation and promotion of health and safety policies,procedures and best practice.* Assisting with the development and delivery of project health and safety objectives,campaigns and improvement initiatives.* Producing monthly and annual health and safety performance reports when required.* Preparing and maintaining high-quality health and safety documentation.* Working closely with operational teams to ensure health and safety responsibilities are understood and achieved.* Supporting the development and review of Risk Assessments,Safe Systems of Work (SSoW),permits and work plans.* Carrying out regular site inspections and audits in line with project requirements.* Ensuring accidents,incidents and near misses are reported,investigated and closed out within agreed timescales.* Assisting management teams with the preparation of health and safety documentation.* Identifying health and safety training needs and supporting the delivery of training initiatives.* Supporting the project team with For Cause Drug & Alcohol testing where required.* Assisting with site inductions,toolbox talks and workforce briefings.## What Were Looking ForWere seeking a proactive Health,Safety & Wellbeing professional with experience in civil engineering,infrastructure or major construction projects who is passionate about driving high standards and supporting operational teams.Youll have:* NEBOSH Certificate (Construction preferred) or an equivalent qualification.* Membership of a recognised professional body (Tech IOSH or above).* An accident investigation qualification such as Kelvin TOPSET,RoSPA or NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation.* Experience working within civil engineering,infrastructure or major construction environments in a similar health and safety role.* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.* Strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.* The ability to obtain BPSS security clearance,which is required for this project (typically taking 4-6 weeks to complete).## Our ValuesWe are looking for someone who demonstrates:* **Collaboration** - Building positive relationships and working together to achieve the best outcomes.* **Trust** - Acting with integrity,delivering on commitments and always putting saTPBN1_UKTJ
