A growing and highly regarded legal practice is seeking an experienced Credit Hire Paralegal to join its expanding team in Newcastle.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with defendant or claimant credit hire experience who is looking to manage their own caseload within a supportive and fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of litigated credit hire matters and work closely with experienced litigators on complex and high-value disputes.The RoleManaging a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated credit hire filesReviewing evidence and preparing cases for settlement or trialDrafting court documents, witness statements and correspondenceLiaising with clients, insurers, counsel and third partiesConducting liability and quantum investigationsSupporting senior fee earners on more complex matters where requiredAbout YouPrevious experience within credit hire litigation is essentialAbility to manage files with minimal supervisionStrong organisational and communication skillsConfident handling court deadlines and procedural requirementsExperience using a case management systemLaw degree/LPC/SQE advantageous but not essentialWhats on OfferCompetitive salary and bonus potentialHybrid working arrangementClear progression opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environmentExposure to high-quality litigation workThis opportunity would suit a motivated paralegal looking to further develop their litigation experience within a successful and expanding legal team.NRG is an equal opportunities employer committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
