Job Title: Welder Welder Stainless Steel TIG Location: DerbyRate: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour (Outside IR35)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pmDuration: 12-Month ContractWe are looking for 2 Welders to join a busy engineering and manufacturing business in Derby on a long-term project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder with strong TIG welding skills who is looking for consistent work, overtime opportunities, and a secure contract with a substantial workload.The successful Welder will be working primarily with stainless steel, producing box section frame assemblies for an ongoing customer project. The business has a significant pipeline of work and is looking to strengthen its welding team with skilled TIG professionals who can hit the ground running.The Role As a Welder , you will be responsible for:TIG welding stainless steel framesWorking from engineering drawingsBench welding in a production environmentProducing high-quality box section frame assembliesMeeting daily production targets of approximately 8 frames per daySupporting a major project delivery programmeMaintaining quality standards throughout manufactureThe welding process has been designed for repeatability, with dedicated jigs being introduced to ensure consistency and make production as straightforward as possible.
