Apprentice Groupage Clerk

Laser Transport International Limited, part of the £80M turnover Currie Solutions Group, are recruiting for anApprentice Groupage Operations Clerkto join their team in Warrington.Hours of work are Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30.Key Responsibilities:Maintaining day to day contact with customers in order to determine their service requirements.Ensure that all administration (including pricing and costing) and paperwork is completed accurately.Ensure that all information is input on to the traffic management system accurately.To print all manifests and ensure that all paperwork is present and meets customer and partner requirements.Collate and process Proof of Deliveries.Liaise with warehouse and other depots.This list is not exhaustive and you may be requested to complete alternative tasks and duties when required.Required level of competence for position:Good communication skillsGood organisational skillsGood time managementAbility to work quickly and accuratelyGood working knowledge of relevant software packages e.g. relevant MS Office programmes, in house Traffic Management System.Candidate entry requirementsMinimum of 3 standard grades level 3 or above or equivalent.Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of relevant MS office programmes.Full Training will be provided on in-house systems.TPBN1_UKTJ
