An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join a highly respected, globally recognised organisation operating within the defence and advanced manufacturing sector.

\n

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving Lean transformation, operational excellence, and measurable supply chain improvement across sourcing and procurement operations within a highly regulated engineering environment.

\n

What you’ll be doing:

\n

Leading data-driven Continuous Improvement initiatives across sourcing and supply chain operations

\n

Applying Lean methodologies to improve flow, remove waste, and standardise processes

\n

Driving cross-functional improvement workshops and operational reviews

\n

Using KPIs, ERP/SAP data, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities

\n

Managing and developing a Continuous Improvement Analyst

\n

Supporting operational readiness within a highly regulated defence manufacturing environment

\n

Embedding a culture of operational excellence across procurement and supply chain teams

\n

We’re looking for:

\n

Proven experience in Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence roles

\n

Strong Lean toolkit experience (VSM, process mapping, root cause analysis, DMAIC/PDCA)

\n

Experience within manufacturing, engineering, defence, aerospace, supply chain, or sourcing environments

\n

Someone comfortable operating in fast-paced operational environments with multiple stakeholders

\n

A hands-on improvement leader who can influence, challenge, and drive change

\n

Experience using ERP/SAP systems and operational performance data

\n

Previous people management or mentoring experience is advantageous

\n
