Maintenance Engineer6Month minimum contract£30.15 per hour4 on 4 off (O/T Available)Kentgap technical are representing a market-leading business seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide interim maintenance support at their Kent site.Performance ObjectivesReactive breakdown support to minimise disruptionExecution of planned and preventative maintenance activitiesElectrical & Mechanical fault diagnosis using drawings, diagnostics, and equipment historyIdentification and rectification of recurring equipment faults, including implementation of permanent corrective actionsSupport for continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and uptimeCollaboration with production and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operationAssistance with machinery modifications, upgrades, and repair works as requiredAll services delivered in compliance with site health, safety, and food hygiene standardsProfileTime-served engineer or demonstrable equivalent industry experienceMulti Skilled Capabilities with proven capability in FMCG manufacturing environmentsExperience working with:3-phase electrical systemsMotors, drives, inverters, and safety circuitsI/O PLC fault-finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley or similar)Automated food production and packaging equipmentAble to work with minimal direction, managing workload and priorities independentlyStrong communication skills when liaising with site stakeholdersApplyTo be considered, please submit your CV via the Apply Now option on the website.For further information on this engagement or to discuss other contract opportunities, please get in touch.This contract opportunity is advertised by gap technical, operating as an employment business.
