T&K Associates are working in partnership with our prestigious Client based in Cadeby to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.We are looking for a hardworking enthusiastic individual that has previous experience and wants to work within the plastics industry. Our Client offers fantastic training and some excellent rewards including a weekly bonus.Maintenance Engineer Job Details & Benefits;Permanent position£16.50-£19.80 per hour plus a weekly bonusWeekly bonus (average £60)Days 6am-2pm, afternoons 2pm-10pm & nights 10pm-6amLoyalty Bonus up to £1,000 payable after 3 years£500 Refer a Friend Scheme payable to both new and referring employee29 days holiday per yearNo bank holiday workingContributory pension schemeEmployee Assistance programmeEmployee savings schemeTraining providedWorkwear/PPE provided + free laundry serviceExcellent subsidised canteen facility serving hot foodFree parking & Shower facilities availableMaintenance Engineer Role & Responsibilities include;Conducting preventative maintenance on all plant machineryAttending machine breakdowns and carrying out repairs/change overs efficiently, to ensure minimum down timeTroubleshooting and fault-finding defects on machinery and carrying out repairs as necessaryEnsuring adequate supply of essential parts and ordering of parts when requiredUpdating records and maintenance logsMaintaining the upkeep of all working areasFabricating work may also be requiredEnsuring compliance with the Companys policies; including Health & SafetyObserving and complying with all good working practices within the companyCarrying out any other reasonable request made by management, to support departmental or company objectivesMaintenance Engineer Person Specification;A minimum of 3 years experience in Heavy Plant / Machinery maintenanceMust have experience within the plastics industryKnowledge electrics engines, transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systemsBe hard working and conscientious using initiative to reach suitable resolutions without constant supervisionAbility to follow instructions and prioritise workload in systematic orderAbility to work on your own initiative and as part of a team demonstrating a good work ethicExcellent organisation and communication skillsA good understanding of Health & SafetyIf you are interested in the role as Maintenance Engineer then please apply now by sending your CV today.TPBN1_UKTJ
