Additionally, the Senior Quantity Surveyor plays a vital leadership role—mentoring junior surveying talent, driving pre-contract work-winning strategies, and upholding rigorous governance across high-value portfolios.Key Responsibilities End-to-End Commercial Governance: Manage project costs, contract administration, procurement, monthly cost reconciliations, and financial reporting across complex civil and building packages.Risk & Dispute Management: Identify, track, and mitigate commercial risks (cost overruns, scope changes, delays) and liaise with contract service teams to resolve commercial variations and disputes effectively.Mentorship & Development: Provide structured mentorship, training, and technical guidance to assistant and junior quantity surveyors, supporting their progress toward professional accreditation (APC/RICS).Work-Winning & Pre-Contract: Collaborate closely with pre-contract teams, contributing to resource planning, tendering, and commercial strategy on work-winning initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary commercial contact for key clients, main contractors, and internal executive leadership during regular portfolio reviews.Candidate Requirements Education & Accreditation: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
