As a Courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of shipments whilst providing an exceptional service to customers.You will represent both DHL Express and AVTAV whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety and customer care.Role ResponsibilitiesThe role may include:Collecting and delivering shipments within designated routes and timescales.Providing excellent customer service at all collection and delivery points.Loading and unloading shipments safely and securely.Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately using handheld technology.Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects.Managing delivery documentation and electronic records.Following route plans and operational instructions.Maintaining the security and integrity of all shipments.Representing the client professionally at all times.In addition, all employees are expected to:Follow company procedures and operational requirements.Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.Work effectively as part of a team.Follow all Health & Safety procedures.Maintain a professional and positive attitude.Support colleagues and management in achieving operational objectives.Essential RequirementsThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:Excellent customer service skills.Strong communication skills.Reliability and punctuality.A professional and courteous manner.Good geographical awareness.The ability to work independently.A positive and proactive approach to work.The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Technical Skills, Licences & ExperienceOnly include where relevant:Full UK Driving Licence.No more than 6 penalty points.
