Ongoing Position with Career Progression OpportunitiesPertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client in Milton Keynes for a Transport Clerk to join their busy and fast-paced transport department on a night shift basis.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with transport, logistics or administration experience who is looking for a long-term role with genuine opportunities to progress within the transport operation.Key Responsibilities Pre-brief and de-brief drivers at the start and end of their shiftsSupport the transport team with daily administrative dutiesProcess and maintain transport, delivery and POD documentationMonitor vehicle movements and delivery schedulesLiaise with drivers, warehouse teams and customers where requiredUpdate internal transport management systems accuratelyInvestigate and escalate delivery issues, delays or driver queriesEnsure all compliance records are maintained correctlyProduce reports and complete general transport administrationCarry out other transport office duties as required to support the operationWhat We're Looking For Previous experience within a transport, logistics or distribution environment is desirableStrong administrative and organisational skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyConfident communication skills with the ability to build relationships with drivers and colleaguesGood IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeAbility to work under pressure in a busy transport officeReliable, punctual and able to work independently on night shiftsWhat's on Offer £14.50 per hourMonday to Friday night shifts onlyOngoing, long-term opportunityStable working hours with no weekend workingSupportive team environmentExcellent opportunity for development and progression within the transport departmentIf you're looking for a rewarding role within a fast-paced transport operation and want to build a long-term career in logistics, we'd love to hear from you.??
