The Opportunity

Our client, a leading contractor within the Social Housing sector, is seeking an experienced Joiner to join their responsive maintenance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking to secure a long-term position with a well-established organisation.

\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Carrying out window repairs and maintenance
\n
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining all aspects of fencing
\n
• Repairing and replacing fascias and soffits as required
\n
• Completing a variety of day-to-day joinery repairs and maintenance works
\n
• Working within both occupied and void social housing properties
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
\n
• Providing excellent customer service when interacting with tenants and residents
\n
• Working outdoors and within all weather conditions
\n

\n
\nEssential Requirements\n
\n

\n
• NVQ Level 2 in Joinery (essential)
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
\n
• Previous experience working within the Social Housing sector
\n
• Proven experience in:\n
  \n
  • Window maintenance and repairs
  \n
  • All aspects of fencing
  \n
  • Fascias and soffits
  \n
  • General domestic joinery repairs and maintenance
  \n
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
\n
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices
\n
