Site Manager/Supervisor (Road Resurfacing) Lancashire (Blackpool) Contract OpportunitySite Manager/Supervisor - Road Resurfacing WorksBlackpool, Lancashire£35-£40 per hour (Outside IR35)6 Month Contract37.5 Hours per WeekSite-Based RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager/Supervisor to oversee a programme of road resurfacing works across the Blackpool area on behalf of a local authority client.This is a client-side supervisory position where you will act as the clients representative on site, monitoring contractor performance and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. The role would particularly suit someone from a highways contractor, civil engineering or development background with experience overseeing surfacing and maintenance schemes.The RoleYou will be responsible for supervising multiple live resurfacing projects simultaneously, ensuring work is completed in accordance with programme requirements, health and safety legislation, and quality expectations.Key duties will include:Supervising 3-4 active road resurfacing sites.Monitoring contractor progress, productivity and performance.Undertaking site inspections and quality assurance checks.Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and site procedures.Reviewing and monitoring traffic management arrangements.Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress.Liaising with contractors, residents, local authority representatives and key stakeholders.Identifying and escalating any issues affecting programme, safety or quality.Desirable Qualifications:SSSTS or SMSTSCSCS CardNRSWA Supervisor AccreditationLocal Authority or Highways Maintenance experienceFor more information or to apply, please contact Joe Lunt at Morson Edge on 0161 829 3980 or emailTPBN1_UKTJ
