Area Sales Manager (West Midlands)£85,000 OTE + Company CarAt Sharps Furniture Group, home to Sharps, Fittingly and Clever Closet, we've been transforming homes with beautifully crafted fitted furniture for over 50 years. As we continue to grow, we're looking for experienced Area Sales Managers to join our Sharps brand.Leading the performance, coaching and motivating c. 30 self-employed designers across a defined territory, this is a role accountable for delivering profitable revenue growth, improving conversion, protecting margin and ensuring exceptional customer experience.This is a field-based, hands-on, lifestyle sales leadership role and therefore requires some weekend and evening availability to support designers, offering design advice and commercial guidance.You'll be responsible for:Driving sales performance and delivering profitable revenue growthDriving improvements across sales and conversion KPIsCoaching and motivating your team using clear performance plans via regular field visits and one to onesRecruiting and onboarding high quality designers to maintain optimal area coverageMonitoring KPIs and using performance data to identify growth opportunitiesRun disciplined weekly, monthly and quarterly performance rhythms.Championing an exceptional customer experience and resolving customer issuesUnderstand and develop local market dynamics, customer activity and opportunityAbout You:You'll be a proven sales leader with a passion for developing people and delivering results.You'll bring:A minimum of 5 years sales experience with a strong track record of delivering resultsProven experience in a field-based sales management role, leading geographically dispersed teamsBackground in direct to customer (D2C) sales, ideally within furniture, interiors, home improvements or premium consumer goodsStrong coaching and leadership skills with hands-on motivational energyCommercially astute with strong analytical capability and confidence using data to drive decisionsExcellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skillsA proactive approach, resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentA full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across your area and the UKComfortable working in a lifestyle based role with evening and weekend availabilityReady to make an impact?If you're passionate about building successful teams, driving sales growth and developing talented people, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
