Mechanical Engineer

Pertemps Daventry is recruiting on behalf of one of our established clients for a Mechanical Engineer to join their friendly and growing team.This is a Temporary to Permanent opportunity offering £19.00 per hour , with the chance to secure a permanent position with a well-established business.This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit a forward-thinking, motivated engineer with a passion for fault finding, servicing and maintaining diesel engines. You'll be working in a supportive environment where customer service and engineering excellence are at the heart of everything they do.The Role Service, rebuild, repair and maintain diesel enginesDiagnose faults on petrol, diesel and gas enginesCarry out electrical diagnostics and common rail/ECU fault findingWork primarily from the workshop with occasional visits to customer sitesDeliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer serviceWhat We're Looking For Experience or qualifications in mechanical engineeringStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience working on diesel enginesKnowledge of common rail/ECU systems is advantageousA proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a small teamWorking Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pmFriday: 8:00am 1:00pm30-minute lunch breakWhat's on Offer? £19.00 per hourTemporary to Permanent opportunityFull-time or part-time hours availableSupportive and friendly working environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesInterested?Please contact Niki at Pertemps Daventry on 01327 220483TPBN1_UKTJ
