We are seeking a dedicated ESOL Teaching Assistant to support students in ESOL classes. This role involves assisting with reading, translating, and working alongside the class lecturer to adapt work for non-English speakers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

\n
• Assist in the delivery of ESOL classes, focusing on supporting students with reading and translating materials.
\n
• Collaborate with the class lecturer to adapt lesson plans and materials to suit the needs of non-English speaking students.
\n
• Provide direct support to students, helping them understand and complete their assignments.
\n
• Engage with students to enhance their learning experience and facilitate their participation in class activities.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Experience or strong interest in language teaching, particularly English as a Second or Other Language (ESOL).
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English and ideally one or more other languages.
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting the lecturer and contributing to a positive learning environment.
\n
• Patience and understanding in assisting students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
\n
