Engineering Project Manager

As Project Manager you will lead a £2.5m-£3m emissions-reduction project from feasibility through to the installation, commissioning and handover of a new industrial scrubber system.A market-leading, manufacturing organisation requires an experienced Engineering Project Manager to deliver a major capital project at its Newcastle Facility.What's in it for you as Engineering Project Manager:£500-£550 per day, paid to your limited companyOutside-IR35 contractInitial 9-12-month assignmentOwnership of a significant environmental capital projectPotential for further contract opportunities across the groupThe Engineering Project Manager role:You will join during the current feasibility stage and take ownership of the project through detailed design, procurement, installation, commissioning and final handover.Working with the central procurement team, you will manage the RFQ/RFT process before selecting and managing the OEM, specialist suppliers and contractors responsible for delivering the new scrubber system.Key responsibilities of Engineering Project Manager:Review and develop the current feasibility workManage project scope, programme, budget, risk and changeLead the RFQ/RFT and supplier-selection processManage OEMs and contractors through design and installationCoordinate mechanical, electrical, civil and process workstreamsOversee commissioning, performance testing and handoverAct as Principal Contractor and ensure compliance with CDMAbout you as Engineering Project Manager:Proven cradle-to-grave capital-project delivery experienceExperience managing OEMs, suppliers and contractorsIdeally experienced in scrubbers, emissions control, process plant or comparable industrial installationsStrong knowledge of CDM and contractor managementIdeally HNC, HND or degree-qualified in an engineering disciplineApplications are welcomed from a wide range of manufacturing, process and heavy-engineering backgroundsApply now!TPBN1_UKTJ
