Based at a leading science and laboratory facility, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the site, helping to ensure colleagues have the services, equipment, and support they need to perform at their best.From porterage and stores duties to laboratory support and general maintenance tasks, this is a varied role that's ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys making a real difference every day.What You'll Be DoingProviding a professional and responsive customer service to site usersManaging porterage duties, including the collection and delivery of parcels, packages, and goods across the siteCompleting and maintaining documentation in line with site procedures and compliance requirementsResponding to reactive work requests using mobile CAFM systemsCarrying out general maintenance tasks, minor repairs, painting, decorating, and other building support activitiesSupporting laboratory operations, including the movement and cleaning of glasswareProviding laundry services, including the collection and distribution of laboratory coatsAssisting with meeting room and conference space set-ups, furniture moves, and event requirementsSupporting site waste management processes and ensuring correct disposal procedures are followedMonitoring stock levels and arranging replenishment requests when requiredReporting maintenance issues and repairs through the appropriate channelsSupporting the wider Facilities and Engineering teams as requiredTaking ownership of your work to consistently deliver exceptional service standardsWhy Join Atlas?At Atlas Workplace Services, we're passionate about creating workplaces that work better for everyone. You'll be a team player with a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to get involved in a wide variety of tasks across the site.QualificationsGCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience within a facilities, property maintenance, building services, or workplace services environmentExperience supporting the delivery of multiple services within a busy operational siteStrong customer service skills with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levelsGood interpersonal and communication skillsComfortable using Microsoft Office and other modern workplace softwareExperience using CAFM or work management systems, such as Planon, on tablets or mobile devicesUnderstanding of compliance requirements and safe systems of workExperience working within highly regulated or permit-controlled environments where Health & Safety standards are essentialAble to prioritise workloads, respond to changing demands, and maintain high service standardsA flexible, positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer serviceThis role would suit someone who enjoys a varied working day, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and wants to be part of a supportive team delivering services that make a real difference to the client and site users every day.At Atlas Workplace Services, we believe great buildings start with great people.
