Job Title: Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer Location: Watford, Hertfordshire Salary/Benefits: £30k - £50k + Training & Benefits A successful name within the Water Treatment / Commissioning industry is seeking a reliable Engineer to join their team. Daily duties will include flushing, chlorinations and pre-commissioning cleans in line with BSRIA guidelines. The ideal candidate will have robust industry technical knowledge and must be able to hit the ground running. Ideally, you will have experience working across a range of commercial and infrastructure sites. Experience / Qualifications: - Strong track record working as a Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer - Ideally will hold the tickets such as: CSCS, Confined Spaces and / or Safe Pass - Good understanding of BSRIA and ACOP L8 guidelines - Willing to travel in line with company needs - Able to work independently on site when needed - Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills - Hardworking attitude The Role: - Peforming BSRIA compliant pre-commissioning cleans on heated / chilled, fan coil, AHU, LTHW and CHW systems - Chemical dosing - Black-flushing and power-flushing - Chlorinations on pipework and tanks - Calculating flow rates and velocities - Interpreting from schematic drawings - Providing regular updates to clients and technical advice - Maintaining strong working relationships with clients - Producing detailed technical reports and documents - Working to agreed project deadlines Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Flushing Engineer, Pre-Commissioning Technician, Pre-Commissioning Flusher, Commissioning Engineer.
