I'm currently recruiting for a Workshop Installation Engineer to join a growing, highly successful business that specialises in bespoke vehicle conversions and installations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to be part of a close-knit team where quality, craftsmanship and teamwork are genuinely valued.

Working from a modern workshop in Coalville, you'll be involved in converting Mercedes B-Class vans, carrying out electrical installations, fitting work and bespoke projects. No two builds are exactly the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving.

The Role

• Electrical installation within specialist vehicle builds
\n
• Fitting and assembly of equipment and components
\n
• Working on bespoke conversion projects
\n
• Carpentry and finishing work where required
\n
• Supporting the wider workshop team on vehicle builds
\n
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality
\n
• Ensuring completed vehicles are clean and customer-ready
\n

What We're Looking For

Essential:

\n
• 18th Edition qualification
\n
• Electrical qualification (Level 3 preferred)
\n
• Practical electrical installation experience
\n
• Full UK manual driving licence
\n
• Over 21 years old (insurance requirements)
\n
• Held driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
\n
• Strong hands-on approach and attention to detail
\n

Desirable:

\n
• Carpentry experience
\n
• Vehicle fitting or conversion experience
\n
• Coachbuilding experience
\n
• Metalwork or fabrication experience
\n
• Auto-electrical background
\n
