Technical Author - End client Defence\n
\nIR35- inside\n
\nContract Length- initially 6 month but likely to be extended\n
\n£25.50 per hour- Umbrella rate\n
\nFully Remote working\n
\nHave DBS or able to pass\n
\nWe're recruiting for an experienced Technical Author to join a leading defence client.\n
Key responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Produce and review high-quality technical documentation using S1000D
\n
• Author and edit technical publications using XML editing software
\n
• Act as the technical point of contact, ensuring documentation is accurate and delivered to project milestones
\n
• Review draft publications for quality, accuracy and compliance
\n
• Support documentation processes and continuous improvement initiatives
\n

Essential requirements:\n
\n

\n
• Recent S1000D experience (essential)
\n
• Experience with XML editing software
\n
• Current DBS clearance or ability to pass a DBS check
\n
• Able to provide your own Windows 11-compatible IT equipment
\n
