Print Canvas Finishing Operator

Print Canvas Finishing Operator required to work in Sheffield, onsite @ my clients manufacturing Company.

Please note: you must have full working rights to work in the UK as no sponsorship offered. This role is permanent and shifts either 06:00 - 13:30 and the other shift is 10:30 - 18:00.

Key Responsibilities

• Finishing: Operate Kongsbergs & Fotoba cutting tables: Set up and calibrate cutters to produce high-quality canvas products maintaining consistency and quality.
\n
• Match the cut prints with job-sheets and organise by size and separate for different clients.
\n
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on cutters to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
\n
• Physical Stamina: Standing for long periods and handling heavy canvasrolls, requiring good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills required:

\n
• A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar Print role.
\n
• Experience of working in the manufacturing industry.
\n
• Skills/Knowledge Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
\n
• Good personal time management, planning and organisational skills required to manage competing demands and priorities.
\n
• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for colour accuracy, alignment, and print quality.
\n
• Personal qualities Enthusiastic personality - a can do attitude and friendly outlook.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Calm & decisive when working under pressure.
\n
• Flexible approach to working hours.
\n
