A leading independent property consultancy is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its expanding London Building Surveying team. The business is open to candidates across a range of experience levels, from Newly Qualified Surveyors through to Associate level.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of refurbishment projects, primarily across the industrial and logistics sector, while also gaining exposure to a wider range of commercial assets including offices and retail.

\nThe Role
\nAs a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will take responsibility for delivering refurbishment projects ranging from £250k to £10m+, working with a diverse range of investors, occupiers and developers.
\nAlongside project delivery, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of professional surveying instructions, including:

- Technical due diligence \n
- Pre acquisition surveys \n
- Dilapidations \n
- Party wall matters \n
- Project monitoring \n
This varied workload will allow you to continue developing a well rounded skillset while gaining exposure to a wide range of commercial property projects.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead refurbishment projects from initial instruction through to successful completion. \n
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards. \n
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing high-quality advice and building long-term relationships. \n
- Prepare specifications, manage project budgets, oversee invoicing, and monitor overall project performance. \n
- Support and mentor junior surveyors and graduates. \n
- Contribute to business development activities by strengthening existing relationships, identifying new opportunities, and promoting wider service offerings. \n
- Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the Building Surveying team. \n
About You
\nYou will be a commercially focused Chartered Building Surveyor who enjoys taking ownership of projects and building strong relationships with clients.
\nThe ideal candidate will have:
\n- \n
- MRICS qualification. \n
- Experience delivering commercial refurbishment projects up to £10m+ in value. \n
- Experience within the industrial and logistics sector, although wider commercial property experience will also be considered. \n
- The confidence to manage projects independently from instruction through to completion. \n
- Excellent communication, report writing and stakeholder management skills. \n
- A proactive and collaborative approach with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service. \n
