Reach Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join a busy cold store warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established logistics operation, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock within a temperature-controlled environment.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Reach Truck licence and have previous warehouse experience. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, replenishing stock, and accurately picking products while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Truck safely and efficiently in a cold store environment.
\n
• Load, unload and move palletised stock throughout the warehouse.
\n
• Replenish picking locations to ensure stock availability.
\n
• Put away inbound deliveries into designated storage locations.
\n
• Pick customer orders accurately when required.
\n
• Carry out stock movements using warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
\n
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any defects immediately.
\n
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
\n
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse.
\n
• Support other warehouse duties as required by the operation.

Requirements

Essential

\n
• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck in a warehouse environment.
\n
• Ability to work safely in temperatures ranging from approximately 0C to -25C (appropriate PPE will be provided).
\n
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with working hours.
\n
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
\n

Desirable

\n
• Previous experience within a cold store or frozen food warehouse.
\n
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
\n
• Counterbalance licence (advantageous but not essential).
\n

Working Environment

• Temperature-controlled cold store warehouse.

• PPE and specialist cold-weather clothing provided.

• Manual handling may be required.
\n
