As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

\n
• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe and roadworthy
\n
• Arrive on time for all scheduled duties and keep the traffic office informed of any issues or delays
\n
• Follow all company procedures, customer requirements and Highway Code regulations
\n
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
\n
• Complete all deliveries and collections in line with manifests
\n
• Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
\n
• Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and presentable
\n

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

\n
• A full LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
\n
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
\n
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Experience operating double-deck trailers
\n
• Container experience (dock-compliant drivers are highly desirable)
\n
• A flexible and positive approach to work
\n
