Asset Integrity & Reliability Engineer
Location: Shotton, Flintshire (CH5)
Salary: £40,000£45,000 + bonus and excellent benefits
Were recruiting an Asset Integrity & Reliability Engineer for a major manufacturing site in Shotton.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of asset reliability, improve plant availability and reduce unplanned downtime within a fast-paced process environment.
The role
\nYoull work closely with maintenance, operations and engineering teams to develop a more proactive, data-led approach to asset care. Key responsibilities will include:

- Developing risk-based preventative maintenance plans \n
- Completing asset condition, criticality and obsolescence surveys \n
- Maintaining an Asset Risk Register and delivering improvement plans \n
- Using RCA, FMEA and RCM techniques to improve reliability and MTBF \n
- Introducing and developing condition-monitoring techniques, including vibration analysis, thermography and lubrication analysis \n
- Planning and coordinating maintenance shutdowns and line outages \n
- Reviewing critical spares and improving inventory accuracy and availability \n
- Supporting capital projects with scopes, business cases and acceptance criteria \n
- Coaching operators in basic asset care and autonomous maintenance \n
- Ensuring all work meets required health, safety, quality and environmental standards \n
What were looking for

- HNC or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline \n
- Practical engineering experience within manufacturing, process, production or another high-volume environment \n
- Working knowledge of reliability tools such as FMEA, RCA and RCM \n
- Experience of preventative maintenance, CMMS scheduling and condition monitoring \n
- Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills \n
- Ability to turn technical data into clear, practical maintenance actions \n
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments \n
- A safety-focused and methodical approach \n
