Join us and receive a £1,000 bonus, paid in two instalments:

• £500 after completing 60 shifts

• A further £500 after completing 90 shifts

Pay: £17.47 per hour

• £17.47 per hour for the first 9.6 hours worked each day
\n
• Guaranteed overtime paid at £23.25 per hour (time and a third) after 9.6 hours per day
\n
• Average daily shift: approximately 10.5 hours
\n
• No unpaid breaks
\n
• £4.50 daily meal allowance
\n

We are looking for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a busy and growing building materials delivery operation.

The role involves driving a wagon and drag combination, delivering building materials to construction sites and other locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced Class 1 drivers and newly passed Class 1 drivers looking to build their career.

No HIAB licence? No problem. The client is willing to put suitable drivers through their HIAB training, making this an excellent opportunity for drivers who are keen to develop their skills.

The role is primarily day work, with occasional nights out available for drivers who want them. If you prefer to work days only and be home every night, that is also absolutely fine.

Duties

\n
• Drive a Class 1 wagon and drag safely and legally
\n
• Deliver building materials to construction sites and other locations
\n
• Load and unload materials safely
\n
• Operate HIAB equipment where trained and authorised
\n
• Secure loads correctly
\n
• Carry out daily vehicle, trailer and equipment checks
\n
• Complete delivery paperwork and comply with all relevant regulations
\n

Requirements

\n
• Class 1 (C+E) licence
\n
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
\n
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
\n
• Good focus on safety and reliability
\n
• Wagon and drag experience is desirable but not essential
\n
• HIAB experience or licence is preferred, but not essential
\n
• Newly passed Class 1 drivers are welcome to apply
\n
