\nThe Role\n
\nAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering retail goods from the distribution centre to stores acrossNorth
\n London, Essex and Kent.\n
\nYour responsibilities will include:\n
\n

\n
• Completing store deliveries safely and efficiently.
\n
• Transporting predominantly palletised loads with minimal manual handling.
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
\n
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
\n
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining compliance with transport regulations.
\n
• Delivering excellent customer service at every location.
\n

\n
\nAverage shift lengths are812 hours, depending on your route, with regular start times and ongoing work available.\n
\nRequirementsTo be considered, you'll need:\n
\n

\n
• A validHGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence.
\n
• A validDriver CPCandDigital Tachograph Card.
\n
• At least1 year's Class 1 driving experience.
\n
• No more than6 penalty points(no major endorsements).
\n
• A good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport legislation.
\n
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude.
\n
