\n Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30pm

Pay Rate: £18.99 - £19.54 per hour
\n Location: Yeovil BA20 2YD
Job Purpose / Overview
\n We are currently recruiting for Indentured/Skilled workers to work on site at our clients offices in Yeovil. The role will involve CNC Milling of Aerospace Equipment, in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications and Customer/Regulator Requirements, working within an empowered team environment to meet delivery requirements and reporting directly to the Team Lead.
Role Responsibilities
\n * CNC programming, machining (this will entail the programming, setting & running of 3
\n axis milling centres)
\n * OCQ - Operator Control of Quality
\n * To achieve on time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the required
\n standard
\n * Interpreting Engineering Drawings, following the process layout and documentation
\n procedures
Qualifications
\n * Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential)
\n * Knowledge of machining, specifically CNC Milling
\n * Knowledge of hand measuring equipment, such as Vernier, Micrometer, Thread and Plug
\n Gauges
\n * High standard of Health & Safety
\n * Adhering to Company Processes & Procedures
\n * Working in a Customer-focused environment and achieving targets
\n * Working with Designers and Engineers
Knowledge and Skills
\n * The position requires the applicant to have an understanding of Aerospace practice and the significance of the safety critical work undertaken
\n * PC literate
\n * The applicant should be able to display essential skills in the adherence to Health &
\n Safety standards at all times, teamwork, flexibility and the ability to use initiative
\n * Continuous Improvement
\n * Any further training requirements will be provided:- PC skills (incl. Company Operating
\n Systems), Manual Handling, 5S, HOS Principles and general Health & Safety
