HGV Driver C+E

We are recruiting HGV C+E driver to work Nights - 18ph\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with all road traffic laws and company procedures.
\n
• Complete national and regional deliveries and collections.
\n
• Conduct daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects.
\n
• Ensure loads are correctly secured and transported safely.
\n
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
\n
• Adhere to tachograph regulations, driver hours, and Working Time Directive requirements.
\n
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
\n
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and clients.
\n
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
\n
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
\n

\n
\nEssential Requirements\n
\n

\n
• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence.
\n
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
\n
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
\n
• Excellent knowledge of road safety and compliance requirements.
\n
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
\n

\n

\n
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
\n
• Experience with curtain-sided trailers, refrigerated transport, or general haulage.
\n
• Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, or tramping shifts.
\n
