Our client is looking for an experienced Automated Gate Engineer to join their expanding team based in Royston. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of automated gate systems.
\nThe successful candidate will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n

Install, service, and repair automated gate systems.
\n - \n
Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
\n - \n
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
\n - \n
Work on a range of gate automation equipment, including swing and sliding gate systems.
\n - \n
Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations.
\n - \n
Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
\n - \n
Provide professional and courteous customer service while on site.
\n - \n
Liaise with the office team regarding job progress and any additional works required.

Previous experience as an Automated Gate Engineer is essential.

Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
\n - \n
Experience working with gate automation systems and access control equipment.
\n - \n
Full UK driving licence.
\n - \n
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
\n - \n
Strong communication and customer service skills.
\n - \n
A proactive and reliable approach to work.
