Location: Luton
Salary: £46,176.91 Overtime and company benefits
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 0600-14:00/14:00 22:00

\nWe are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a highly skilled manufacturing team producing precision-engineered components for critical industries including Oil & Gas, Power, Defence, and Nuclear. Working within a modern machining facility, you will support low-volume, high-quality production using both CNC and manual machine tools.
\nThe Role
\nAs a CNC Turner you'll be responsible for manufacturing precision parts and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings, ensuring quality, accuracy, and production targets are consistently achieved while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
\nKey Responsibilities of the CNC Turner

- Set, program and operate CNC turning machines. \n
- Manufacture components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances. \n
- Produce and modify tooling, jigs, fixtures, and moulds. \n
- Inspect and verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment. \n
- Record work activity using the ERP system. \n
- Support LEAN and continuous improvement activities. \n
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping. \n
What We Are Looking For
\n- \n
- Minimum 5 years as a CNC Turner - programming, setting and operating. \n
- Ability to read and work from ISO engineering drawings. \n
- Skilled in using micrometres, Vernier callipers, and precision measuring equipment. \n
- Basic IT skills and understanding of 5S principles. \n
