\n\nThe Role\n

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned servicing, preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on a range of CNC machine tools at customer sites. \n\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n
- \n
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on CNC machine tools. \n
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs where required. \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing a professional service at all times. \n
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company health and safety procedures. \n
- Complete service documentation accurately and communicate technical information internally in line with company quality processes. \n
\nAbout You\n
\n
- \n
- Time-served engineer with a recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. \n
- Based within the Greater Manchester area, with the ability to travel to customer sites across the North of England and occasionally throughout the UK and Ireland. \n
- Strong communication and customer service skills. \n
- Proactive approach to fault finding and problem solving. \n
- Good knowledge of CNC turning and milling machine tools. \n
- Previous experience servicing or maintaining CNC machine tools is desirable. \n
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens and/or Heidenhain CNC controls is advantageous. \n
