CNC Turner Setter/Operator

AMJ Recruitment are looking for a Full Time CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our valued Engineering Client based in Nuneaton.\n
\n***MUST have plenty of Mazatrol experience and be able to work independently***\n
\nPay Rate - £16.00 - £17.00 per hour\n
\nShifts: Day Shift\n
\n07:00am - 16:00pm (Mon-Thur)\n
\n07:00am - 12:00pm (Fri)\n
\nTerm - Long Term, Ongoing\n
\nStart Date - ASAP\n
\nExperience - Mazatrol experience is ESSENTIAL\n
\nDuties Include:\n
\n Set and operate CNC turning centres using Mazatrol controls\n
\n Interpret and work from engineering drawings, route cards, and technical specifications\n
\n Select, install, and set cutting tools, offsets, and work holding equipment\n
\n Produce first-off components and carry out in-process inspections\n
\n Use measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, and thread gauges\n
\n Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards to tight tolerances\n
\n Monitor machine performance and make necessary tooling or offset adjustments\n
\n Perform routine machine maintenance and daily housekeeping duties\n
\n Ensure all work is completed in line with production schedules and targets\n
\n Identify and report tooling issues, machine faults, or quality concerns\n
\n Minimise scrap and maximise machine efficiency\n
\n Work with a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel\n
\n Adhere to all health & safety procedures and company policies\n
\n Maintain accurate production and inspection records\n
\n Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives\n
\n Work independently and as part of a manufacturing team\n
