Class 1 Driver

Class 1Driver -Guaranteed HGV Work EVERY Week.

HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Loughborough area of Leicestershire LE11. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position! Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent

Work will be either Simple RDC to DC trunking to ensure the products network runs smoothly, time to time you may have to do an emergency store run to collect over stock or low stock replenishment.

The Role:

\n As a Class 1Driver, you will be:

\n
• Trunking runs using a LGV curtain or box trailer vehicle
\n
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
\n
• Completing HGV vehicle checks
\n
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
\n
• Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
\n
• Starting around 06:00am daily - shifts between 10-12 hours
\n

Requirements:

\n
• HGV Class 1 licence entitlement
\n
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
\n
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest
\n

Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):

Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00-07:00 Start

Shift Length - 10-12 hours

£18.50 -24.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)
