Our client is currently seeking a Stores & Logistics Operative to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role supporting warehouse and logistics activities within a busy operational environment.

\n

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day stores operations, material movements and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
\n
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
\n
• Operating forklift trucks
\n
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
\n
• Organising and storing stock within warehouse and yard areas
\n
• Carrying out deliveries and collections as required
\n
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory records
\n
• Supporting general warehouse and logistics activities
\n
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures
\n

Candidate Requirements\n

\n
• Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, logistics or materials handling environment
\n
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence
\n
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Flexible approach to workload and changing priorities
\n

What's on Offer\n

• £13.00 - £14.50 per hour
\n
• Monday to Friday working pattern
\n
• 8:00am - 5:00pm
\n
• Opportunity for additional overtime during busy periods
\n
• Temporary assignment running from August to October
\n
• Immediate start available
