\nPRECISION MOULDS AND TOOLS SERVICES LIMITED have been producing multi-impression precision injection mould tools for the medical industry for over 35 years, and are looking for experienced Toolmakers, Improvers, Surface/Cylindrical Grinders, and CNC Millers to join our established team to support continued business growth.

\nThe successful candidates will be involved in manufacturing high precision injection mould tools in a clean and well equipped toolroom, with Micron CNC High Speed machining centres, Charmille CNC Wire eroders, Sodick CNC Spark eroders, Jones & Shipman surface grinders, in house design using UniGraphics, and CAM programming using Visi
\nThe successful candidates will join a highly skilled technical team of toolmakers and will have extensive opportunities for training and further personal development
\nRole Responsibilities
\nUse of manual milling machines
\nUse of lathes
\nUse of surface and cylindrical grinders
\nUse of CNC spark eroders (training given)
\nUse of CNC wire eroders (training given)
\nManufacture and fitting of new injection mould tools
\nModification & repair of Injection Mould Tools
\nExperience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fitting
\nAssist the Production Team in trouble shooting tooling and moulding faults
\nEnsure that the Companys Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to throughout
\nBenefits/package
\n20 days annual leave, plus 8 statutory holidays
\nSalary based on experience
\n1 week Christmas shutdown, in addition to annual leave
\nFlexible working hours between 6.30am and 6.30pm

\nQualifications/Experience Required
\nExperience in manufacturing precision engineering components for moulds and tools
\nAbility to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
\nExperience with Grinding, Milling, and Spark Erosion techniques
\nAbility to work to tight tolerances and high standards of quality, and completing tasks on time
\nSkilled in tool modifications, repairs, and refurbishments
\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills
\nProficient in the use of all toolroom machinery and equipment
\nExperience with CAD/CAM programming is a plus
\nExcellent communication skills both written and verbal.
