An excellent opportunity for an experienced Quarry Plant Service Engineer to join a well-established company.
\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
\nSalary:Competitive Salary of £65,000 PA Plus OTE.
\nLocation:Hemerdon Mine, Plymouth.
\nAbout the Role:
\nThe company have a large processing contract in the newly re-opened Hemerdon Mine, near Plympton. Hemerdon Mine produces the precious-earth metal called Tungsten.
\nThey have an exciting opportunity for several experienced, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated Field Service Engineers to complement their established and successful team.
\nThe company are looking for team-players, who will work to the highest standards in problem solving, fault-finding, service and repair functions on quarry crushing and screening plant.
\nKey Duties (but not limited too):
\nEnsure all site operational tasks are being completed under the correct Health & Safety paperwork and in a safe manner
\nAssist Site with break downs as and when they occur
\nCarry out routine maintenance to prevent downtime
\nCompile technical reports following services and breakdown
\nLiaising with other team members to agree parts requirements
\nCompleting plant breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner
\nCompleting all plant equipment servicing and testing
\nAssist on plant installations when required
\nResolve on-site issues occurring during installations when required
\nCompile lists of refurbishment requirements prior to plant removal / re-installation
\nLiaise with Service team to resolve any ongoing site operational / technical issues
\nAssist in site operator awareness training to optimise plant performance

\nRelevant Engineering qualifications
\nCSCS Safe pass (non essential)
\nQuarry pass
\nDriving license. (essential)
\nVehicle Maintenance
\nPrevious Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer experience essential
\nCrushing and screening plant experience essential
\nExperience of servicing construction equipment essential
\nThe candidate will have all the relevant qualifications and a minimum of 5 years experience within the mechanical engineering industry with good knowledge in hydraulics, electrics and engine
