Salary: £43,000 per annum

An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its maintenance team at its Kidderminster production facility.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer to join a successful manufacturer where you'll work on a wide range of heavy production equipment, helping to maximise plant reliability while supporting continuous improvement across the site.
The Role:\nYou'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving production machinery, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

- ABB robotic systems \n
- Hydraulic presses \n
- Associated manufacturing equipment \n

- Carry out preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance \n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production equipment \n
- Maintain plant reliability and minimise downtime \n
- Support production teams during breakdown situations \n
- Complete maintenance records accurately using the CMMS system \n
- Participate in detailed shift handovers \n
- Carry out root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions \n
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs where required \n
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety \n
We're looking for an apprentice-trained Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working on a variety of industrial machinery within a manufacturing environment.
\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineering qualification \n
- Strong mechanical maintenance background \n
- Good hydraulic systems knowledge \n
- Basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial \n
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation \n
- Previous experience within heavy manufacturing, die casting, foundry or similar industrial environments \n
Desirable:

- Forklift licence \n
- Overhead crane licence \n
