Plasterer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plasterer to join a well-established contractor carrying out repairs and maintenance works to social housing domestic properties across Daventry.\n
\nThis is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work with the opportunity to join a busy team delivering high-quality plastering repairs and property maintenance projects.\n
\nThe role involves working on occupied and void social housing properties across Daventry, carrying out a variety of internal plastering repairs and finishing works to maintain and improve domestic properties.\n
Key Responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Carry out all aspects of plastering including skimming, patch plastering, float and set, and bonding
\n
• Complete repairs to damaged walls and ceilings following maintenance works
\n
• Prepare surfaces by removing loose material, applying bonding agents, and ensuring a high-quality finish
\n
• Undertake rendering repairs where required
\n
• Carry out minor dry lining and plasterboard repairs
\n
• Ensure all plastering work is completed to a high standard within occupied and void domestic properties
\n
• Work safely and effectively while maintaining a clean and tidy work area
\n
• Liaise professionally with tenants and site management throughout the works
\n
• Complete work in line with health and safety regulations and company standards
\n

Requirements:\n
\n

\n
• To have your own van
\n
• To have your own tools
\n
• Previous experience working as a Plasterer
\n
• Experience in skimming, patch plastering, rendering, and general plastering repairs
\n
• Experience working within social housing or domestic properties is desirable
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
