Fresh People are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, growing chartered accountancy and advisory firm looking to appoint an Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager to join their established Accounts and Audit team.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who is ready to step into a more senior, client-facing role with responsibility, variety and clear progression.

\nThe Role
\nAs Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager, you will work directly with a broad range of clients, Partners and senior leadership, helping to deliver high-quality accounts and audit assignments across a growing portfolio.
\nKey responsibilities will include:

- Delivering accounts and audit work for a varied client base \n
- Taking ownership of assignments from planning through to completion \n
- Leading client meetings and building strong client relationships \n
- Supporting Partners and senior managers on client work \n
- Reviewing work and mentoring junior team members \n
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines \n
- Providing practical, commercially focused support to clients \n
- Identifying opportunities to improve client service and add value \n
- Working collaboratively across the wider accounts, audit and advisory teams \n
The Candidate
\nWe are looking for someone who is proactive, solutions-focused and confident working with both clients and colleagues.
\nYou will ideally have:
\n- \n
- ACA or ACCA qualification \n
- Minimum of 3 years experience within accountancy practice \n
- Strong accounts and/or audit experience \n
- Confidence leading client conversations and managing client relationships \n
- Experience mentoring, supervising or supporting junior team members \n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail \n
- Good working knowledge of Excel \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \n
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tight deadlines \n
- A positive, team-focused and growth-minded approach \n
