Street Scene Supervisor

Location: Doncaster Pay: £15.43 per hour PAYE + Holiday Pay Contract: Temporary until 30 October 2026 (with possible extension) Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Lynx Employment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Street Scene Supervisor to join a busy operational team in Doncaster.

\n

This is a hands-on supervisory role leading frontline Street Scene teams across cleansing, grounds maintenance and environmental services. You'll provide day-to-day leadership, ensure services are delivered safely and efficiently, and maintain high operational standards across the borough.

## Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support operational Street Scene teams.
\n
• Allocate workloads and monitor daily performance.
\n
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
\n
• Conduct site inspections and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
\n
• Manage staff attendance, annual leave and sickness.
\n
• Liaise with managers and stakeholders to maintain service delivery.
\n
• Ensure vehicles, depots and equipment are operated safely.
\n
• Support continuous improvement and service quality initiatives.
\n

## Requirements

Previous supervisory or management experience within Street Scene, cleansing, grounds maintenance, highways or environmental services. Strong leadership and people management skills. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Good IT skills. Full UK Driving Licence. Management qualification (Level 3 essential, Level 5 desirable) or equivalent experience. \n

## Additional Information

Based across Northbridge and Cantley depots with travel throughout Doncaster. Site-based role with regular field visits. Microsoft Teams interviews. Immediate start available.\n
