Yard Operative/Plant Machinery

Meridian business support is recruiting for aYard operative / FLT Driver/Plant for a Company based in Deeside.\n
Yardoperative /FLT Driverand Plant Machinery

Must have a valid FLT licence and some other plant machinery i.e. loading shovel, Telehandler, 360 etc or if you dont have an FLT licence then you must have other plant licences.\n
\n

\n
• Operating forklift trucks(Counterbalance) and Plant Machinery safely to move, stack, and stage heavy materials.
\n
• Loading and unloading containers, and flatbeds efficiently
\n
• Conducting daily safety checksand reporting any mechanical defects immediately.
\n
• Organising and maintaining the external yard area to ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment
\n

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:\n
\n

\n
• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance) issued by an accredited body like RTITB or ITSSAR
\n
• Proven experience working as an FLT Driver or Yard Operative within a fast-paced environment
\n
• Experience in outdoor yard management, including stock rotation and space optimisation.
\n
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, as the role is predominantly based outdoors.
\n
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for checking delivery notes
\n

Hours & Shifts:\n
\nMonday - Friday - Weekly shift Rotation\n
\nWeek 1 - 6AM - 2PM - Morning shift\n
\nWeek 2 - 2PM - 10PM - Afternoon shift
\n
Pay Rate:£13.39 per hour + £10 shift allowance
Overtime available ( Weekdays & Weekends )
