Class 2 Refuse Driver

TLP Recruitment is currently recruiting multiple Cat C (Class 2) Refuse Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in the Tonbridge area. Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to grow its fleet and is seeking reliable, professional drivers to join the team.\n
\nAs a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will work alongside a team of loaders, safely transporting them around designated collection routes while ensuring waste collections are completed efficiently and on schedule.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role, starting on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks.\n
\nNo previous refuse driving experience? No problem! While experience driving waste vehicles is advantageous, full training, induction and driving assessments will be provided before you start.\n
The Role\n

\n
• Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
\n
• Work closely with a team of loaders on daily collection routes.
\n
• Ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently.
\n
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
\n
• Follow all Health & Safety and Manual Handling procedures.
\n
• Deliver a professional service at all times.
\n

Working Hours\n

\n
• Monday to Friday
\n
• 06:00/07:00 start - approximately 15:00 finish
\n
• Optional Saturday shifts available.
\n
• Finish times may vary depending on workload.
\n

What You'll Need\n

\n
• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor traffic offences only)
\n
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements
\n
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working
\n
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
\n
• Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
\n
