Accountable Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a successful and expanding professional services organisation based in Merseyside to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, hands on, finance manager to join a growing business in a broad role.

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships across multiple departments and contributing to both day-to-day finance operations and longer-term business objectives.

\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and performance reporting
\n
• Delivering insightful commentary and analysis to support business decisions
\n
• Maintaining financial controls, including balance sheet reconciliations and ledger integrity
\n
• Managing cash flow reporting and supporting working capital performance
\n
• Partnering with operational teams to support revenue forecasting and project performance
\n
• Monitoring profitability and analysing business trends to identify opportunities and risks
\n
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning processes
\n
• Assisting with year-end reporting and statutory compliance requirements
\n
• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the finance team
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiencies
\n
• Acting as a key finance contact for stakeholders across the wider business
\n

You'll ideally have:

\n

\n
• Previous experience within a broad SME finance role
\n
• A solid understanding of financial controls, reporting and compliance requirements
\n
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly
\n
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with finance systems
\n
• The confidence to engage with and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business
\n
• A hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
\n
