HGV Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tuxfordarea. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Hours:Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30am starts (average finish 6-7pm)

Pay Rates:

• Class 1 PAYE: £15.77 per hour
\n
• Class 1 Rolled Up: £17.67 per hour
\n
• Class 1 ADR PAYE: £16.80 per hour
\n
• Class 1 ADR Rolled Up: £18.83 per hour
\n
• Class 2 PAYE: £14.83 per hour
\n
• Class 2 Rolled Up: £16.62 per hour
\n
• Class 2 ADR PAYE: £15.85 per hour
\n
• Class 2 ADR Rolled Up: £17.76
\n

Location:Tuxford, NG22

Job Type: Ongoing with the potential for perm contract for the right candidate.

The role:

\n
• General haulage palletised goods (no food)
\n
• Curtainsiders, tail lift & pump truck use
\n
• Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to 20 drops/collections)
\n
• Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures
\n
• Ensuring safe handling of goods and maintaining high driving standards
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 or 2 (C+E & C) driving experience
\n
• ADR Packages licence preferred but not essential
\n
• Must be 25+ (insurance purposes).
\n
• Maximum 6 points no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
\n
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
\n
• Strong communication & customer service skills.
\n
• Happy with both commercial and residential deliveries.
\n
