\nWe are looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join our in-house workshop in Knypersley, Stoke-on-Trent, maintaining a 30 -vehicle mixed fleet of Class 1, Class 2, 7.5t and vans.This is a workshop-based fleet role, working alongside one other experienced technician, with planned maintenance, realistic job times and proper support.\n

- Negotiable - depending on experience \n
- 40 hours per week \n
- Overtime paid \n
- Day / noon shifts: 8am5pm or 12pm9pm \n
- Every other Saturday (paid at overtime rate) \n

- Stable fleet work (no constant breakdown pressure) \n
- Clean, organised workshop \n
- Modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer tooling \n
- Proper planning and scheduling \n
- Supportive, close-knit team environment \n
- Training provided where required \n
- On-site parking and easy access (not city-centre) \n
- Flexibility with hours can be discussed \n

- Servicing, maintenance and repair of Class 1 & Class 2 vehicles \n
- 6-weekly inspections \n
- MOT preparation and presentation \n
- Fault diagnosis and rectification using manufacturer diagnostics \n
- Completion of job cards and service paperwork \n
- Liaising with colleagues and suppliers \n
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed \n
- \n
- Minimum 3 years experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic \n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills \n
- Experience with heavy vehicle maintenance essential \n
- HGV licence advantageous but not essential \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
- Reliable, professional approach \n
