Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • \n
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • \n
  • Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
  • \n
  • Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, clutches, timing belts, engines, and other mechanical components.
  • \n
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and complete any necessary repairs.
  • \n
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • \n
  • Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
  • \n
  • Follow all health and safety procedures.
  • \n
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
  • \n
  • Work effectively as part of a busy and professional team.
  • \n
Candidate Requirements\n
    \n
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
  • \n
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3), or
  • \n
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is preferred; however, candidates with significant relevant experience are also encouraged to apply. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.
  • \n
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • \n
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • \n
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • \n
  • An MOT Tester Licence (Class 4) is advantageous but not essential.
