\n HSB Technical Ltd is recruiting two experienced Electricians to support a range of electrical installation activities within a secure facility.\n
\n The successful candidates will undertake varied electrical work, including cable installation, terminations, fibre-optic systems, power installations and testing. Due to the secure nature of the environment, this position is entirely site-based, with no remote working available.\n
\n Duties and Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Install and route electrical cabling throughout the facility.
\n
• Complete electrical terminations, including military-specification and copper cabling.
\n
• Install, terminate and support fibre-optic systems.
\n
• Carry out power installations in accordance with relevant technical requirements.
\n
• Test, inspect and verify completed electrical installations.
\n
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults where required.
\n
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation instructions.
\n
• Ensure all work meets the required quality, safety and security standards.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of completed installation and testing activities.
\n
• Work closely with engineering teams, OEMs and other technical personnel.
\n

\n Requirements:\n
\n

\n
• Previous experience as an Electrician within a defence, marine, industrial or similarly regulated environment.
\n
• Strong experience in cable installation, routing and termination.
\n
• Knowledge of military-specification cabling and connectors would be advantageous.
\n
• Experience working with copper and fibre-optic systems.
\n
• Competent in electrical installation, inspection and testing.
\n
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation documentation.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
\n
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a technical team.
\n
• Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the Security Clearance required for the position.
\n
• Must be able to work on-site at PTP for all contracted hours.
\n
