About the Role\n

We are currently recruiting for a Laundry General Operative to join a busy and fast-paced commercial laundry operation based at Heathfield Industrial Estate.

\n

This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy working in an active environment and can maintain high standards of attention to detail while working around industrial laundry machinery.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the laundry operation.
\n
• Loading, unloading, sorting, and processing laundry items.
\n
• Carrying out general lifting and moving of laundry products.
\n
• Monitoring laundry machinery and reporting any issues to supervisors.
\n
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the work area.
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
\n
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
\n

Candidate Requirements\n

• Ability to work in a busy and physically active environment.
\n
• Good attention to detail and awareness when working around machinery.
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
\n
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, or laundry experience is advantageous but not essential.
\n
